Capital programs at public agencies, enterprises, and institutions run on PMWEB

THE COST OF DISCONNECTED TOOLS
Capital programs outgrow spreadsheets and contractor tools
SILOED INFORMATION
The capital plan, budgets, contracts, and schedules live in different systems, so no one sees the whole program at once.
OUTDATED REPORTS
Status reports are assembled by hand from exports. By the time leadership reads them, the numbers have moved.
TOOLS BUILT FOR CONTRACTORS
Construction project management tools are designed around the builder’s job. Owners need funding, approvals, and portfolio decisions.
HIDDEN RISKS
Overruns, slipping milestones, and unapproved changes surface late, after the funding decision can no longer change.
ONE PLATFORM, FULL LIFECYCLE
From capital plan to closeout in one platform
Capital planning
Plan and prioritize projects across the portfolio, build conceptual estimates, and run online bidding. Approved projects move into delivery without re-entering data.
Cost management
Track budgets, commitments, changes, and cash flow on every project and roll them up to the program, so you see forecast against budget before an overrun lands.
Scheduling
Manage project and portfolio schedules, including claims analysis, and tie schedule progress to cash flow.
Workflow and document control
Manage RFIs, submittals, and standardized forms across projects, and route approvals through visual workflows with optional DocuSign integration. Every decision is recorded against the project.
Reporting and analytics
Report from one source of truth with business intelligence built on Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services. Give leadership portfolio views without manual roll-ups.
Asset management
Hand completed projects to operations with work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, inventory, and lease and space management in the same platform.
Built for the owner’s side of the table
PMWEB was founded by an engineer who saw, from inside the construction industry, what owners were missing. That is still who we build for.
Founded by an engineer who lived the problem
Founder Marc Jaude is an engineer who worked in the construction industry, first using construction software and later selling it. He saw the gap firsthand: planning scattered across dozens of spreadsheets that were never cross-referenced, searchable, or reportable. He built PMWEB to close it, around owner decisions on funding, approvals, and portfolio control.
Configured for your sector
Airports, public agencies, banks, retailers, healthcare systems, and universities plan and report on capital differently. PMWEB is configured to the way your sector works.

Capital project management software FAQ
What is capital project management software?
Capital project management software helps owners plan, fund, deliver, and report on capital projects in one system. It covers the capital plan, budgets and cost control, schedules, documents and approvals, and portfolio reporting. PMWEB is capital project management software built for owner-operators, not general contractors.
What is capital planning software?
Capital planning software helps organizations decide which capital projects to fund and when. It supports portfolio planning, prioritization, and conceptual estimates. In PMWEB, capital planning and project delivery run in the same platform, so approved projects move into execution without re-entering data.
How is software for owners different from construction project management software for contractors?
Contractor tools are built around the builder’s work: the jobsite, subcontractors, and daily field activity. Owners have a different job: deciding what to build, funding it, approving changes, and reporting across a portfolio. PMWEB is designed around those owner decisions.
Who uses PMWEB?
Owner-operators running capital programs in aviation, government, financial services, retail, real estate, healthcare, and higher education. Clients include Los Angeles World Airports, Brookfield Properties, Wells Fargo, Stanford Health Care, and the City of Austin.
Can PMWEB be self-hosted?
Yes. PMWEB runs in a shared cloud, in a dedicated cloud environment, or self-hosted on your own infrastructure, so organizations with strict security requirements can keep project data under their own control.
Does PMWEB replace spreadsheets and point tools?
Yes. PMWEB brings the capital plan, cost, schedule, documents, workflows, and reporting into one platform, so teams stop reconciling spreadsheets and exports to answer basic questions about the program.
How long does implementation take?
Most implementations follow a Quick Start package of about four or eight weeks. The four-week package covers programs, projects, cost codes, budgets, commitments, change management, invoices, and reporting. The eight-week package adds RFIs, submittals, daily reports, scheduling, and planning. Final timing is set in your statement of work.
Does PMWEB support programs outside the United States?
Yes. PMWEB supports capital programs in 20+ countries across North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
