As the Project Controls Manager in the Strategic Infrastructure, Planning & Construction department, Dianna serves as the lead administrator for PMWEB. The University of North Texas System implemented in 2017 with a small group for major capital projects and has since expanded use to all 3 campuses' facilities groups, leveraging the planning & cost modules heavily to manage all projects, from small renovations to major capital projects. Under Dianna’s leadership, the team continually explores ways to expand their use of PMWEB to improve efficiencies, break down silos and streamline processes across several user groups.

Emily Logan, Senior Project Manager for Planning Design & Construction (PDC) at Boston University, has been with the University for 8 years and in project management within Higher Education for 12 years. Wentworth Institute of Technology graduate with a BA in Interior Design, she has a focus on interior renovations. Emily manages a diverse portfolio of projects across campus, overseeing design and construction of tenant fit-out offices, classrooms, dining, health services, and anything in between. She has been a proponent for BU’s project management system enhancements, and is a leader in the advancement of BU PDC’s project process and delivery methods.

She specializes in governance frameworks, cost and schedule optimization, and enterprise PMIS strategy and implementation. Kim currently serves as Consultant Program Controls Manager for the City of San Diego’s Pure Water Program, a multi‑billion‑dollar initiative securing nearly half of the city’s water supply locally by 2035. She applies systems thinking to optimize tools and analytics, enabling data‑driven decision‑making, transparency, and accountable program delivery.

Mike Carmichael is a seasoned construction professional with over 30 years of experience spanning the full spectrum of construction and project management. His career includes leadership roles such as Superintendent, Project Manager, Quality Assurance Manager, Estimating Manager, Continuous Improvement Manager, and Project Controls Manager. He currently serves as the Program Manager – Controls for the Airport Design & Construction Division at San Diego International Airport, where he leads program-wide controls, performance oversight, and strategic delivery. Known for his depth of expertise and collaborative approach, Mike brings a practical, systems‑focused perspective to advancing complex capital programs.

Sameera Shaikh is a Business Analyst III with the City of Oakland, where she leads technology initiatives supporting Oakland Public Works and the Department of Transportation. With over 16 years of experience across organizations including Accenture, Baltimore Gas and Electric, and the University of California, she specializes in enterprise software implementation and public sector technology transformation. She is actively involved in nonprofit and community initiatives, including volunteering with local Charities, and enjoys traveling with a personal goal of visiting all seven continents while spending time with family.

Vijai Viswanathan is Chief Product and Technology Officer at PMWEB, where he leads the platform's evolution into the next generation of capital project management. Vijai joined PMWEB as part of the company's strategic transformation in late 2024, bringing with him a track record of modernizing enterprise software platforms at scale.

Diego Alvarez is Deputy Executive Director of Capital Planning, Oversight, Management, and Analytics at Los Angeles World Airports, where he holds executive responsibility for LAWA's $30B capital program -- one of the most complex public-sector portfolios in the world. In this role, he guides strategic and portfolio-level decisions across the full redevelopment of Los Angeles International Airport, overseeing governance across programs that will reshape one of the nation's busiest origin-and-destination airports ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games.

Over the last 18 years at Stanford University, David has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects, including lab fit-ups, classroom and office buildings, libraries, historic renovations, faculty housing, data centers, renewable energy, and civil infrastructure. His most recent project is Deep Lab: an adaptive reuse project that transformed an old linear accelerator facility into a new 15,000 sq-ft suite of research labs with cutting edge nanoscale material characterization tools. My passion for building high-performance, transformational spaces that support the teaching and research mission of the University keeps me motivated.

Peter Iovanella is a Project Director with nearly 15 years of experience leading complex construction projects from early design through closeout, with project values up to $2 billion. His work spans life sciences, manufacturing, infrastructure, and large-scale building projects, including academic, commercial, and high-end residential developments. He advises institutional clients, developers, and non-profits on aligning scope, budget, and schedule in high-stakes environments.Peter specializes in financial management and cost control, helping project teams make informed decisions early, when they have the greatest impact. In addition to leading project delivery, he has supported construction dispute matters and expert reports, bringing a rigorous, data-driven perspective to risk, documentation, and accountability.His work focuses on creating clear, reliable project data that enables teams to stay aligned, control costs, and avoid the breakdowns that often lead to overruns. He currently leads his firm’s PMWeb platform strategy, driving implementation, standardization, and portfolio-wide adoption.
