ROSHN is Saudi Arabia’s largest real estate developer managing the Kingdom’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) giga project tasked with increasing the rate of home ownership to 70% within the next 10 years.

OVERVIEW

To control such giga mandate, an enterprise portfolio management office (EPMO) was established to deliver a comprehensive overview of their portfolio, provide assurance, enhance standardization and transparency, and improve cross-functional team collaboration to achieve the agreed commitments.

CHALLENGE

The ability to manage, track and control a giga portfolio, worth hundreds of billions of dollars, with manual systems was an intimidating task. They needed a robust PMIS to provide a centralized, single-source-of-truth platform for all stakeholders to access project-related information, collaborate, and streamline processes.

SOLUTION

After a careful due diligence process and considering the business requirements, PMWeb was selected as its web-based solution with flexibility to be configured to accommodate all their business needs. With PMWeb’s proven track record of being a successful PMIS solution for giga projects across the region, ROSHN confidently chose PMWeb as their project management system. RESULTS

PMWeb standardizes and streamlines the procedures, processes and templates for each stage gate PMWeb thus becoming a single system to capture the entire lifecycle of projects. With PMWeb’s visual workflow, ROSHN has digitally transformed the RACI matrix into the PMWeb system, and electronic approvals help ROSHN to manage, track and control the portfolio. ROSHN’s stage gate outputs, which play a key factor in management decisions, are now achieved with PMWeb’s advanced business intelligence reports and interactive dashboards. With PMWeb’s single streamlined system, ROSHN manages and communicates with all of their stakeholders through the system to enable successful delivery of the projects adhering to Vision 2030.
